Educator
Loet is an internationally renowned workshop leader and big band conductor. Nationally he is a regular guest teacher in both the Amsterdam and Rotterdam Music Conservatories. On an international level he has given master classes at the Atlanta State University (USA 2003), the Academia de Musica, Medellin (Colombia 2008) and workshops at the Waseda University, Tokyo, (Japan 2008) and Being and Shanghai (China 2008).SWING Director
Starting November 6th 2006 Loet has become the director of the Dutch National Foundation Improvised Music Promotion (SWING). This is a non profit organisation that work's with 6 employees and has structural financial support from the Dutch Government.
